In her private practice, Shelly is a professional in the holistic healing arts for the past 12 years. Using the art and science of Dynamic Blood Microscopy, she supports and guides clients in the areas of preventative and therapeutic health, as well as therapeutic education.
While the cornerstone of her practice has been Dynamic Blood Microscopy, Shelly now works solely as a Holistic Health Consultant. She is also a Registered Herbalist at professional standing with the Alberta Herbalists Association, and has been providing holistic health consults for over a decade. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Earth Science. She is certified in numerous energy healing modalities, trained in Mental Health First Aid, and has been mentored in a one-year initiate shaman's path program. Her Capillary Puncture certification was obtained through the Robetech Institute in Toronto. Shelly is currently working through studies in Heilkunst Medicine and will be adding this complete system of medicine to her practice in about two years.
Shelly has worked through thousands of client appointments, all contributing to an ever-growing body of professional knowledge. At any given time, on-going continual research and education is part of Shelly's practice. Her work and mission is to collaborate with each dear client in a supportive and nourishing approach to restoration of health & spirit, or to provide grounding support during chapters of challenge/difficulty.
In her personal life, Shelly continues to navigate her own path of trauma, loss, and love throughout many years. She continually invests in her own awareness and healing, works with her own mentors and heilkunst doctor, and walks in connection with herself and Spirit. She holds a safe space with compassion and grace for her clients at all points of their own personal journeys.
In her innermost 'heart-life', Shelly's greatest Loves include her two grown sons ('suns'). It is a heart-full and proud chapter (with subtle grief) as her suns step into their own lives and world now. Shelly also adores the man in her life and welcomes the journey that has been set upon. Relationships, whether rough or resonant or somewhere in between, have been one of life's greatest teachers and Shelly honours every conversation that comes up with clients around relationship. Relationship is a core of life, a gateway to personal and spiritual development, or perhaps a gateway to the tending of inner wounds and traumas.
Shelly deeply connects to earth and spirit medicine, and honours our Creator. It is a gift to know that when things feel too hard to digest, we can turn to our Mother Earth for assistance with assimilation, composting, and transmutation. We can turn to spirit and to God with the things we seemingly cannot bear... sending them out on breath, voice, smoke...and receiving grace. Sometimes healing means consciously feeling the things we fear most to feel; it can feel like it is a death process... and it is because a new state is trying to be born. There is no coming to the light without traveling the dark at times during life.
And so we walk our journeys. How extraordinary.
